Thank you for your pledge to the Forward to Freedom Campaign.  We were so excited and blessed to see a total pledge amount of $1,455,147 (as of 12/11/2024).  This shows a few things about Plum Creek.  We have unity in purpose of seeing the Kingdom grow in our local neighborhoods and around the world.  Every dollar contributed to this campaign will go toward reducing our debt.  Once our mortgage is retired, 100% of all contributions will go toward ministry.  God is accomplishing something through us that none of us could have done alone.  Thank you for being part of it.

I wanted to share about ways you can make contributions to the campaign.  Please check out the options below:

• If you plan to make one-time or annual gifts, it is helpful to write a check.  On Sundays, you can put checks in the black box at the back of the auditorium.  We have included a Forward to Freedom offering envelope to designate those gifts.  Envelopes are located on the side of the offering boxes.  You can also ask Jared for additional envelopes to keep at home.  Please write F2F (or Forward to Freedom) in the memo line.  Giving by check instead of online helps reduce administrative costs and credit card processing fees.
• If you plan to give more frequently, you are still welcome to give by check.  But for convenience, you may also contribute online.  This can be done each time you want to make a contribution, or you can set up recurring payments.  In either case, go to www.plumcreek.org/give.  From here, select Forward to Freedom in the Fund dropdown box.  If you choose to set up recurring, remember to set the frequency and number of gifts you intend to give.  Typically, this means monthly and 36 donations or weekly and 156 donations.
• If you would like to make a gift of stock or crypto currency, you can also do that from the         www.plumcreek.org/give page.  Click the Stock/Crypto button at the top of the page.  This will open a form to fill out.  The system will then email you with more instructions.  Your broker will send the asset to the church brokerage account.  The asset will be liquidated and we will get a check.  All stock and crypto donations will go toward debt reduction.  No need to select a “fund”.
• Cash donations can be put in a Forward to Freedom offering envelope and in the black box at the back of the auditorium on Sundays.  If you want these donations credited to your giving statement, you must write your name on the back of the envelope.  Any cash donations without a name will be logged as anonymous.

Every contribution made to the Forward to Freedom Campaign on or before January 12 will be considered our “First Fruits Offering.”  This amount will be our first payment toward the reduction of the mortgage.  The amount of this offering will be announced on January 19.  Contributions made after January 12 will be transferred to principal reduction monthly.  We will update progress to the congregation at least quarterly via stage announcements, letters, newsletters, etc.  If you have any questions about our progress, please get in touch with Jared Perkins (jared@plumcreek.org).

Our goal for Forward to Freedom was $1,000,000.  With us being at 145% of goal, we believe we will retire the debt even faster than expected.  We are eagerly planning for the day we will burn the mortgage and convert our debt payments into ministry funding to lead more people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
